I've harvested water from my fire escape catchment basins to plant my indoor guys plenty of times, but not in this form. It's actually better in some ways because it melts slowly and avoids the occasional overflow.
Because too much craziness happens for me to not write it down.
My life since moving to NYC in June 2006.

Urban Igloo
When you're walking home after a log day and your mind is tired, sometimes you just don't have the mental remnants to comprehend certain things. Things like this.

Now I guess this could be several things, but I'm banking on homeless man's igloo. Not bad for the usually-monotonous Upper East Side.

Snowladelphia
This was great timing for the soon to come beginning of Phillies spring training. It also makes me miss Philly. Thanks Kate!

Central Park Snow
As lame as it was that a little bit of snow shut down NYC all afternoon (it's not my fault people choose to live so far away), I couldn't complain about being able to frolic around Central Park instead. Here is a sampling of my shots.
Teamwork
If it wasn't for the fact that the Upper East Side is littered with old people, we wouldn't have such attention for keeping the sidewalks clear. Thanks, old people.
Also, look at this teamwork right here. Way to go, boys!
