Picking a Tooth Brush

As if I don't already have to make a million tough decisions every day, this is what I face when trying to complete the simple task of buying a new tooth brush. Are you kidding me?

At this point, I had already expelled my remaining brain power for the day, so I just grabbed whatever looked the most manly.

Just OK

This market wasn't amazing, it was just OK.

Park Panorama

From the roof of the condo portion of what will be the new Museum for African Art on 5th Avenue on the top of the park, this is what you can see.

This was taken using the panorama function of the Sony Cybershot.

Mixed Taste

I will refrain from commenting on the aesthetics of some of the newer additions to the lower midtown skyline, especially since certain of these additions keep my company working (hey, we just tell the jokes, we don't write them). Regardless, the city at dusk I find breathtaking.

This was taken from the top of the ConEd building on Irving Place.

Truck Trees

Earlier this month you saw the truck farm, but this sight seemed a bit more impressive...and by "impressive" I mean impressively idiotic.

This guy is actually standing up in the back of a moving pickup truck on 3rd Avenue holding up two mini palm trees.  I smell the next Darwin Awards winner...

Zoom

I had several glimpses this weekend all over New York, each celebrating the magic of zoom to the tune of 250mm.

Yankee Stadium from the roof of the Lucida @ 86th & Lex

A hawk on 17th St @ 2nd Ave

Bank of America tower (1 Bryant Park) from Ray's Williamsburg roof top

Anaerobic digesters over Greenpoint from the same Williamsburg roof

Viking Party

Click on the photo above to see what raping and pillaging ensued this past Tuesday night at the Frying Pan boat dungeon.  The conquest was a result of shared birthdays by Donald and Pauli of the Leigh-Ra tribe.

Breakfast for 2...thousand

When I eat breakfast, so do my little friends. This is what the red wiggler breakfast consists of:

Egg carton, egg shells, coffee filter, coffee grinds and burnt toast (toaster's fault, not mine).

Waverly Town

Ummmm...huh?

Thanks, West Village, for once again, blowing my mind.

Not a Sausage

If you are Korean, than apparently you believe the word "sausage" is an appropriate synonym for the word "hot dog." In equally deceiving fashion, the word "fried potatoes" is an adequate substitute for "french fries." So as the one white dude in the place, I looked like a stereotypical hyperactive little American child eating what I totally thought was going to be something else. Why would they even serve this on the menu of otherwise Korean dishes? My uninformative friends didn't even think to mention anything as I ordered. Jerks.
